Catalog Premiere 2014

So last night was a first. Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the US gathered at movie theaters for a special unveiling of the new 2014-2015 annual catalog. I went with my downline/sister and we made our attempt to be red carpet worthy. I even took my first "bathroom selfie" after getting ready for the evening. My husband thinks we are crazy. lol But it wasn't simply a tour of the catalog on the big screen...although we would have loved that too. =)

It was truly an event Stampin' Up! style. Shelli Gardner, CEO and many of the employees we've come to love and appreciate over the years were broadcast live from California and they took the stage to show us some wonderful things they created with these new items! Shannon West got things started showing us a versatile stamp set that you really need to see in action to appreciate. One of the images can be seen in the top right on the catalog cover! Then Brian Pilling joined her on stage and the two of them had us giggling like usual. I regret that I was too caught up watching and didn't get any photos. Shannon was stunning in her dress!

Next up was Carrie Cudney, also looking very beautiful. She showed us the easiest way to put your stamp pad back together if the lid becomes separated from the ink pad. She made it look very easy and challenged Brian to see how many times they could take them apart and put them back together...Carrie won! lol

We were then wowed by Bonnie Thurber. She told us about her engagement and showed off her gorgeous ring before she began to stamp for us. And last up was Donna Griffith, who taunted us with more and more wonderful things.

It wasn't until the event was over that they gave us our own copy. I am super excited about the things inside, and look forward to sharing pretty samples with you as soon as I get my preorder of stamps and goodies. I did get a new stamp set as well last night, but alas, I cannot show it to you...yet! =)
